Real Estate Training with Coach Tom Ferry…What is it really all about?

I just left the design the Decade Ahead summit this week and was asked by many of the participants there who were thinking about joining the coaching program, what real benefit is there to doing it?

I think anyone who has heard Coach Tom Ferry speak can tell you he is energetic, passionate, sincere, caring and very genuinely interested in seeing his clients grow and prosper in their business world as well as their personal world.   In addition, you would be hard pressed to be exposed to the quality of his guest speakers at any one of his events.  But to me, this is expected.

So what else do you really get?

Yes, I get a coach who holds me accountable for the things I do and pushes me to be more focused.

Yes, I get a coach who will help me identify what is working for me and what is not and then help me improve at that.

Yes, I get a coach who will expose me to new and better ways to increase my business and income.

Yes! Yes! Yes!  All these things are great but again…I expected all these things, right?

So what else do you really get?

Here is what you get that is so underestimated.  You get to surround yourselves with fellow colleagues, some we already know, some we heard of and some we never knew before.  Some are new and many are very successful.  It’s almost like a brotherhood (and sisterhood) of realtors and everyone is open and willing to share their secrets to success.   I have built so many friendships and business relationships that I would have NEVER made before without coaching…especially in such a short amount of time.    There are agents in my own marketplace  I have never met that prior to coaching…my opinion of them was not so high but after networking with them through Tom Ferry’s coaching, I can tell you I was so wrong and cannot wait to do a deal with them.  In fact, I can safely assume that if I am in multiple offers with them, I will get the deal for my client.

As Gary Vaynerchuck so eloquently puts it, we are in the beginning of the biggest revolution in modern history.   Those lights you see at the end of the tunnel is the Social Media Networking train and it is traveling at light speed and heading straight at us.  This train is totally transforming the way we all will be doing things to better communicate with our clients and attract new business.  Are you prepared?  Coach Tom Ferry, with the people he surrounds himself with like Gary Vaynerchuck and Jim Marks understands this better than most people on the planet and certainly better than any other coach.  I can only imagine where I would be right now if I did not join coaching.
